Expanded graphite packing is a flexible and high strength braided packing which is made of an innovative
expanded pure graphite yarn with inconel wire reinforcement. The combination of
other braided packings installed with the excellent sealing capabilities of expanded
graphite makes it the most effective sealing component, especially in the
presence of high pressure, It can be used to seal hot water, high temperature and
pressure steam, heat transfer fluid, hydrogen gas, ammonia, organic, solvents,
hydrocarbons, cryogenic liquids, etc., except fewer strong oxidizer. It also is
a unique and universal sealing packing.
